Client – LAFITTE
Background: LAFITTE have been keeping Australia’s feet happy since 1986 with their high quality socks. Their previous website was built on OpenCart and had become outdated. The site was not mobile responsive, and the Customer Experience wasn’t ideal.
The Design: The LAFITTE brand is bold, their imagery is bright and full of colour. Their customers are predominantly male, so the site couldn’t be too feminine, but we also needed to ensure it wasn’t too masculine. To balance out the bright imagery, I used white space, and simple black elements in keeping with the LAFITTE logo and branding.
Work completed: Website redesign, OpenCart to Shopify. Set up of email automation – abandoned carts, request for reviews, and set up of various apps to help drive website conversions. eDM to database to celebrate launch of website, which resulted in a huge sales spike. I also categorised all of the products to make it simpler for customers to shop, improving the customer experience.
